The Ivy Brothers ASL Interpreter Scholarship is a prestigious award provided to a deserving individual pursuing a career as an American Sign Language Interpreter. Named after one of Virginia's most influential ASL interpreters, Ivy Brothers has shown years of dedication to the education and enhancement of others. The eligibility criteria of this scholarship was created by Ivy Brothers. It is with great hopes that the recipient of this scholarship will enhance the field of American Sign Language Interpreters while giving back to their community.
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must:
1. Be a current ASL student enrolled in a credited program.
2. Have a child under 18 or be a caregiver to a family member.
3. Have at least a 3.0 grade average.
4. Have high ethical standards.
5. Be a U.S. citizen.
Applications must be completed online during the period of 1/15/25 - 4/14/25. Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria can apply directly on this website. Further instructions and requirements will be provided on the application. Please return to this website to apply during the application period.
The amount of the scholarship will be announced directly to the recipient. The scholarship amount will be provided directly to the recipients financial aid office.
